Baptist Men’s Ministry

Magnolia’s Baptist Men is a ministry dedicated to enlist all the men and youth of the church in a program of missions, giving, and service activities. Many of these activities include a quarterly Roadside Cleanup, an annual Valentine’s Dinner and Easter Breakfast, and Outreach Projects, such as building handicap ramps, assisting and supporting widows in need, and helping with storm relief. Through teamwork and brotherhood, Magnolia’s Baptist Men strive to fulfill God’s Great Commission by letting the spirit of the Lord lead them in their work, witnessing to other people that are lost in a dying world, discipling one another, and growing in their individual walks with Jesus. Aside from their outreach events, Magnolia’s Baptist Men meet monthly on the first Wednesday night of each month.

WMU - Women’s Missionary Union

Our WMU group is very active with ladies of all ages participating.  WMU meets monthly on the 1st Wednesday night of each month with a strong focus on community, local, state, national, and international missions.  We support our local school students and teachers, Agape Pregnancy Support Services, Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan’s Purse, Annie Armstrong Easter and Lottie Moon Christmas Offerings for North American & Foreign Missionaries, local nursing homes, North Carolina Baptist Children’s Homes, and numerous local projects sponsored by the New South River Baptist Association.   Our goal is to “Make disciples of Jesus who live on Mission”.  Come join us!

J.O.Y. Club

J.O.Y. Club, or “Just Older Youth”, is for all adults ages 55 and up.  JOY Club meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month for meals, day trips, speakers, and other activities.  Meeting times vary depending on the activity for the month.  Dates and times of activities will be posted ahead of time.  Being a part of JOY Club is a wonderful way to enjoy fellowship with others while having fun and being active! Make plans to join us!

AWANA

Kids matter to God, and kids matter at Magnolia Baptist. At our church, children ages 2 – 5th grade participate in the Awana program on Wednesday nights. The Awana year runs from September to May in conjunction with the school calendar. Check-in and worship rally begin at 6:45 with club starting at 7:00pm. Awana at Magnolia is a place where your child will be loved, will have fun, but most importantly will build his or her faith and relationship with Jesus Christ. Come join us!
